I have RA and found that Humira injections work quite well for me. I have fewer flares, and the ones I do have are usually shorter and less painful. Unfortunately, Humira is extremely expensive and I have to battle with my insurance company on a regular basis to get them to cover it. Even then, my monthly co-pay is $100. For me, it’s worth it.
I’ve also found some relief with acupuncture. Not every time, but sometimes it helps a lot.
Remember that everyone is different. What works for me may not work for you. But keep looking, asking and trying to find the solution for you. You CAN live with RA!
