I have fewer flares, and the ones I do have are usually shorter and less painful. Unfortunately, Humira is extremely expensive and I have to battle with my insurance company on a regular basis to get them to cover it. Even then, my monthly co-pay is $100. For me, it's worth it. I've also found some relief with acupuncture. Not every time, but sometimes it helps a lot. Remember that everyone is different. What works for me may not work for you.
