Actually, I have a friend who uses weed for the pain caused by that condition too. When you’re desperate, you’ll try what you can.
My husband also has this and we use paracetamol and ibuprofen together, but it’s not a great combination, it’s hard on your stomach in long term use and I’ll be starring this question to see if any one else comes up with anything we can try too.

CP,
You can often improve the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis with and without the aid of prescription drugs. Glucosamine supports the joints and gradually reverses cartilage damage. Whereas Omega-3 – a natural anti-inflammatory – can reduce joint stiffness and relieve pain. Other natural supplements include flaxseed oil, yucca and turmeric. You should take the supplements as directed, and discuss this with your doctor before combining supplements with prescription medications. Hot and/or cold packs are often beneficial and also hot baths are helpful. There are many “remedies” advertised, some free, some cheap and some are exceedingly expensive. The choice is really up to the individual.
