I believe that, as it is considered autoimmune, that one may be predisposed to having RA or other autoimmune diseases Here is a good site for resources and studies, though they do not list this as hereditary that I can see at a glace.
Best wishes

Yes. But there’s a caveat to that.
It is an autoimmune disorder. Autoimmune problems can be passed on to children, however, it is not a definite. Most traits we get from our parents are a blend – one from one parent, a different trait from another parent. It’s possible that it may not get passed on.
Even if it is, you may not develop an autoimmune disorder. You could have the genetic predisposition to develop one, but doctors believe it is a combination of genetics as well as environment… namely an illness triggering the disease.
My paternal grandfather had it, my father had it, and I have a different autoimmune disease. But I also have 2 sisters and neither of them have ever developed an autoimmune problem. My dad had 2 brothers and a sister and none of them ever developed an autoimmune problem. So goes to show that even though it is hereditary, it isn’t automatic that you could get it or even pass it on.

Most research suggests that RA is indirectly caused by an infection, but they do not know what infection that is. The infection causes the body to launch an immune response, but the problem is, the response doesn’t just attack the infection, it attacks the joints, and this problem may continue throughout life. This is their best theory right now as to what causes RA, and it explains why RA is an autoimmune disorder. "Autoimmune" just means your immune system is attacking parts of your body.
However, susceptibility to RA is inherited. So people don’t necessarily get RA itself from their parents, but they are more likely to get it if it’s in their family.
What does this mean for your kids?
You will probably pass down RA susceptibility to them, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they will develop it. It just means that if they come in contact with that mystery infection, they may get RA.Good luck to you, I know it must be really hard to deal with RA.
